Bowling!

On Saturday September 4th Kefford decided we needed to go and do something with the kids. So we took them Bowling. The last time we went bowling as a family was when Kenedy was little so we were definitely long overdue.

The adults decided we didn't really want or need to bowl so it was an all kids bowling extravaganza! Look at those cute little feet in the bowling shoes. Times sure have changed since the last time we went bowling. So as to cut down on the number of people stealing bowling shoes they required us to give one of our shoes for two of theirs. Kind of funny but makes a whole lot of sense!

First up was Kenedy and Kefford did his best to give her a proper bowling lesson. All of the kids were newbies so we had the bumper lanes to help them out.

Joshua spent his time writing in his journal. I suppose that is a good thing to do! :0)

Ryker took his turn at bowling and I have to say that he did perform the best out of all the kids. Maybe it is a boy thing!

Avynlea was so cute trying to throw that ball down the lane.

Happy Girl!

Rylee would "throw" her ball and it was soo slow that it seemed like it would take forever to make it down to the pins.

Still she was having fun...for a little while. Towards the end she got bored with it all and was ready to go home. She would wander around the bowling alley during the other kids turns and we would have to drag her back to roll her ball.

I love this squishy little face!

Waiting for the bowling "fun" to be over with. I guess Rylee wasn't the only one wanting to be done with it all! ;0)

Oh Kenedy how pretty you are!

Two crazy monkeys having lots of fun!

It got to the point with Rylee that we had to start helping her throw the ball. She would give it a push and one of us would give it a bigger push at the same time.

Go ball go!

And Ryker was the winner! I don't remember the exact score but Ryker won and coming in a very close second was Kenedy...and Avynlea...and Rylee! They seriously tied for second, or last if you want to be a pessimist. What a fun time we had bowling. We need to do it again sometime!
