Happy Halloween!

I finally did it! Here is the cutest picture taken of the cutest kids ever! Kenedy is supergirl and Ryker is superman. I made their costumes with help from my talented sister Emily. I think they look so adorable. I was so excited to show Kenedy when she came home from school cause I just knew that she would be thrilled, so she came in, looked and then said "I wanted to be batgirl..(pause)..but this will work" PHEW! I really dodged that one didn't I?

Ryker of course was thrilled with his and could not wait to try it on.

Avynlea is a princess witch and we came up with that trying to dodge another bullet. We went to the goodwill to look for costumes, Avynlea wanting to be a princess, and we found a cheap looking pink one that cost $13. and then I saw this cute little witch costume for only $4. yeah I like things cheap! So I talked Avynlea into it telling her she will be the cutest little PRINCESS witch ever and she grudgingly went for it! Yeah for me and my powers of persuasion!

Then there is my cute fairy princess Rylee. We borrowed her cute tutu and wings from Emily who did in fact make them herself. I told you that kid was talented!

Happy Halloween everyone!

We are looking forward to all that candy and the sugar rush that comes with it.

(Hopefully the sugar coma comes quickly!!)

party like the Gilmores

Getting ready to"Devil egg"!

Me and my "Homies"

Heather, Ashleigh, Mom, Erin, Me :)

Rory: It's a Friday night. We should be out, I don't know, partying with the homies.

Lorelai: Our Stars Hollow homies are all in bed by now.

Last year, for the first time since I was married, I got to be in California with my family for new years eve. To celebrate this momentous occasion, my two cool sisters decided to throw a Gilmore Girls new years eve party. For those of you in the know with the Gilmore Girls you know that this involved tons of food, watching fun movies, wearing Gilmore Girls inspired t-shirts and devil egging Joshua's car. (Yep Amberly, aren't you so jealous right now?) We had so much fun that I decided we had to do it again this year. Unfortunately we were not going to be there for new years eve but, really now, when did that ever stop us Lutes girls from having fun? So look out cause pretty soon we will be having a MAJOR pig fest and another night of memories making fun!

Rory: So, is this party Grandma's having going to be a big deal?
Lorelai: Not really. The government will close that day. Flags will fly at half-mast. Barbra Streisand will give her final concert... again.
Rory: Uh-huh.
Lorelai: Now, the Pope has previous plans, but he's trying to get out of them. However, Elvis and Jim Morrison are coming and they're bringing chips.

living it up at the county fair

I still cannot find the cord and it is definitely not where Kefford said it would be. Big bummer, cause I really need to download those pictures. Our camera is almost full and I would like some newer pictures to post on here. In the meantime I am trying to post pictures from our trip to the fair. But all I have is the old fashioned dial up and that makes downloading very slow, so we will see how many I can actually put on here.

The first picture I am attempting to upload is me with my ice-cream potato! This picture was taken just for you Mom and the ice-cream potato was bought and eaten with us thinking of you the entire time. Yes it was delicious and yes it would have been alot better if you were there to enjoy it with us!

The second picture is Kenedy on the roller coaster ride, with Ryker peeking through. She did have fun on the ride I just don't think she knew her picture was being taken. I do have one where it shows better her excitement but I wanted to post a picture of only her. (Yeah I know it has a little bit of Ryker in it but that's OK, we still love her too pieces!)
Yes, this third picture is Avynlea looking adorable as usual. It makes me laugh because the only time she smiled and showed any excitement was when she saw us waving at her. She was riding the little train and I think was a bit uncomfortable being on it with strangers, but I know she had fun and would have done it again in a heart beat.

Ryker was so excited to ride the swings. He was so wiggly and could not contain that big grin. Every time he passed us on the ride he made sure to find us and give us a wave. I loved watching his excitement and could not help being proud that he was my cute kid!

This last one is Rylee feeding the goats. I love how unafraid she was even thought they got right in her face. I put the food in her hand and helped her to feed the goat. I do have to admit although she was unafraid she was still unsure about the whole feeding thing. I wanted to put the food on her head because that would have made a really fun picture but Kefford would not let me, probably a good thing because she would have grown up traumatized that a goat tried to eat her head and I would have been the bad Mom who just stood there and laughed!
So there you have our trip to the fair in a small nutshell. You most likely noticed that I did not post any pictures of Kefford. That is because he does not usually like it when I take his picture and I was not forcing the issue at this time. To be fair the picture of me was taken because I handed the camera to Kefford and told him to take it.
*By the way it took me a little over an hour to get the pictures on and the post written. Be grateful those of you who do not have to deal with dial up, it is a big thorn in my side that hopefully will someday be removed!

blacks eyes are so fun

So I thought I would come in here and write about our ward halloween party and post a picture of my cute kids in the adorable costumes I made and bought for them, only to discover that I did not download the pictures off of my camera onto the computer. So I grabbed my camera and got ready to do it but then I could not find the cord to attach to the computer, the cord that enables me to download the pictures onto my computer. Needless to say you do not get the cute little post about our fun halloween party because a post without a picture is no fun at all. Instead you are all treated to a very random but highly adorable picture of Ryker at two years old with his first black eye. I promise it was not me who gave him the shiner...at least I don't think it was me because I really can't remember what happened but I promise if it was me it was a complete accident.....really!!
Ahhh I love those sweet pouty lips and chubby cheeks, plus look at that belly!!!!
