I got to be in California again for my Annual week after Christmas California trip. This year Kefford was the one to get to go with me. I really appreciate his Parents and the willingness they have to let my kids stay for such a long period of time. It definitely makes the get away easier for me. Guilt free!! So while we were there I didn't get a lot of pictures but I did get some. On Saturday we went to the beach so that Heather could run her 14 miles! She is Amazing!! While she was running Mom, Erin and I walked four miles and then huddled cold in the car. It was rainy and cold that day. But not before walking the pier and taking pictures.
I was able to spend some fun quality time with my sassy niece Jaylynn. She took a liking to the games on my Kindle and thus took a liking to me. Whatever helps to win friends over!!
The last day was a sad day but we did our breakfast farewell by eating at Brandon's Diner. We all went there for lunch the day we arrived and it was really good so we went back for breakfast the day we left. Unfortunately I found a hair in my eggs. Gagging again as I type. it was not pleasant and kind of ruined things for me but Heather shared some of her omelet and that made it all better. :o) When it was time to go we took some pictures and left. :o(
I always have fun being with my family in California and am glad that I can visit them twice a year. Of course I wish it could be more but I will take what I can get!
