Mallory's Graduation

In August Kefford and I left the kids in the capable hands of their Grandparents and we headed to Utah to attend the Graduation of my Sister-in-Law Mallory. Her official Graduation is not till December but they only do the ceremonys once a year and so she went through it a little bit early. As of December though we will officially have a Nurse in the Family. So excited for her and all of her hard work.
Kefford wanted a picture with him and the Statue of Joseph Smith. It is a pretty cool looking Statue.
All of the Graduates had a picture and a Quote they picked out flash up on the screen when their names were called. I really love Mallory's chosen picture and Quote.
I think this is one of the first pictures I got of Kefford where he is actually smiling and not making a face. He is so Handsome!
Elizabeth and Kefford with the beautiful Graduate!
Andrew was holding someones bag, maybe Mallory's?, and he was looking oh so dashing as he held that bag.

My Brother is strange. :)
Someone brought Graduate tatoos and here is a picture of the ones who partook in the tattoo fun.
Joshua, Benny Boo, Isabelle, Mallory, Kefford, Andrew, Emily and Mom

Erin and Me looking pretty!

Kefford and my strange yet awesome brothers!

I caught Ben acting like a boy and wiping his mouth with his shoulder.

Of course Kefford had to have a picture next to the sign with his birth year on it.
Kefford also had a lot of fun playing with a new app on his phone. I think the pictures turned out pretty cool.

Rodeo!

Kefford's Dad invited our family to go to the Caldwell Rodeo with them one night. I just so happened to be visiting Nyssa that day and some of them were talking about the Rodeo which was going on that night. I was in the right place at the right time and got my family invited to go along. I wasn't feeling the greatest that evening and so I stayed home with Rylee while Kefford took the other three. They came home happy and said alhtough it was a slow start they had a lot of fun. It was running pretty late and since the kids all had school the next day Kefford decided to bring them home rather then stay till th every end. One of the sponsors was handing out cowboy hats for the kids and so Ryker and Avynlea came home with some pretty bright hats.

Sara bought a burrito and it was so big Kefford helped her eat it.

Back to School

The start of another school year. This year the stakes are much higher for me because this is the first year in 13 years that I will not have a kid home with me during the day. I miss my kids during the day but it is nice to have some me time and to be able to get things done that I need to get done.  It is a good break but I am always happy to have them come home and to hear about their day.
Ryker (5th grade), Avynlea (3rd grade) and Rylee (1st grade)
Luckily all of the kids love their teachers and I anticipate this will be a happy year of learning and growing.

The younger kids are at the elementary school and are on a modified calendar so they started school at the beginning of August. Kenedy at the middle school follows the traditional calendar and so she had a couple of weeks alone time at home with Mom before she started school at the end of August.

Finally it was time for Kenedy to start her last year of Middle School. I cannot believe that next year she will be in high school! She is really excited to be an eighth grader and looked really pretty for her first day.

More California Fun

I downloaded a bunch of pictures from my phone and found that most of them were more pictures from our California trip.

As we were leaving to drive down in the RV Kefford needed me to take the wheel for a couple of minutes so that he could fix something. I had Ryker take a couple of pictures of me with my phone so I could have proof that I did indeed drive the RV even if it was for a couple of minutes. Let me tell you it was super scary and quite the nerve wracking couple of minutes.

Here are some extra pictures from Disneyland.

Rykers scary eye.

And then some more pictures from the beach. A lot of these I put on Instagram.

Rylee loved playing in the sand and these pictures I feel capture how much of a sand monster she was.

Keffords Aunt Jennifer drove down from the Fountain Valley area to come and see us. Unfortunately she and her Husband Parker got caught in bad California traffic and we could only visit for about 30 minutes. I am glad she made the drive though it was really nice to see her again and visit and catch up.
