Women's Broadcast

On Saturday I got to go to the General Womens Meeting of Stake Conference with Kenedy and Avynlea. We got there a little bit closer to the starting time and so there were not a lot of seats to pick from. Avynlea found us some seats in the very front that she was excited about. Kenedy was not thrilled and wanted one that was not the front but Avynlea was in front seat sitting heaven and so we had to stay. The meeting was amazing and all of the speakers had so many important things to talk about. I loved listening to all of them and look forward to them being published so that I can read them over and over again. Avynlea and Kenedy did great during the meeting and I hope that the things they might have needed to hear were heard. I am so happy that I get to do this with my girls and am excited that the next one will be attended by me and all three of my girls! After the meeting was over we got to eat little pies provided by our Stake Relief Society Presidency. I had one of the boysenberry pies which was delicious and I was happy about, until I spotted the pecan pies! I LOVE pecan pie and so I had to grab one and eat it. Luckily these were super mini pies, not even the size of a slice, so I felt OK eating two. While we were eating I had my girls take some pictures with me to document this fun time. I love my girls and I love this Gospel and I am forever grateful to be a part of this wonderful church and to have a strong Testimony!

Teenagers

I think we know by now that it is a given that Kenedy is going to hijack my phone and use it for her own selfie taking enjoyment.
She even had her Dad take part and he decided to show off my CPR certified card.
On Wednesday the Mia Maids were doing some service at my neighbors house and Kenedy told her Leaders that they could all come over to our house after they were done and have their treats here. They came after I had put the other kids to bed and while I was working on Rylee's adorable halloween costume. I continued with my sewing while they dished up their ice-cream and visited. While all of this was going on Kenedy's friends hijacked my phone for their own amusement. What is it with teenagers and selfies? :)

Lauryn and Kenedy

While they had a little down time during their service Kenedy and Lauryn did some best friend selfies.

When I was at the football game watching Kenedy cheer I saw a kid wearing a Meridian High Swim Team shirt and what was written on the back made me laugh. At the end of the game I mustered up my courage and asked him if I could take a picture. He was fine with it and when I told him I swam in High School he asked me what year I graduated. I laughed and told him it was a long time ago and in California. Me and most of my siblings grew up competitive swimming and so I had to send them this picture because I knew they would love it also.
Kenedy went to Megan and Lauryn's 15th birthday celebration and had a good time. Their Mom sent me a couple of pictures she took of the group of girls. When I got the picture my first thought was, wow, Kenedy looks beautiful, and then, I thought, these girls look way too old. What is a Mom to do? I am so glad Kenedy has such great friends!

Sunday Walk

Having church at 9 is really great. I like getting up and going with no down time in between, for me it is just easy. Unfortunately the rest of the day can start to drag a little. On this particular day by 4 or 5 I was feeling pretty restless and so I announced I was going on a walk and anyone who wanted to could come and join me. Avynlea and Rylee were the only ones that took me up on my offer. It had rained a tiny bit right before and so I told the girls they could bring their umbrellas. They ended up not needing them but opened them and used them for a bit anyway. For some reason it is fun to walk under an opened umbrella. :)

Rylee found this huge mushroom and I told her she could pick it as long as she did not try to eat it.

I had a good, fun walk with my two girls. We walked 3.5 miles and they did not complain once, just went with it and enjoyed it. Love my kids!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Our Ward put on a Daddy Daughter Dance and my two littles were most excited about it. Kenedy had other plans and didn't really want to go so she was off the hook. Kefford was not thrilled about it but agreed to go because his girls were so excited. Kenedy picked out a couple of dress options for the girls to wear and they went with what they liked and looked so cute. I had to get a couple of pictures before they left.

As they were leaving I reminded Kefford to make sure his girls have a good time and to enjoy it himself. Our friend Seth Nicholes took a couple of pictures of Kefford dancing with his "Dates" and then texted them to me. What a nice guy, he must know I love pictures!

The dance was from 6-8 and they got home around 7:30, I was impressed Kefford lasted that long! They came home with cupcakes for me and a little box filled with candy also for me. I love that they know the way to my heart!! Kefford said there were treats and candy galore. Avynlea and Rylee had a lot of fun dancing and taking pictures with their Dad. What a great night for them!
The next day I was sent through email their "Photo Booth" pictures.

Avynlea took some with her friend Victoria as well

Fall is coming!

Kefford was dealing with some phone issues one night and had to use the home cell phone to make his call to Sprint. This phone is pretty junky and the battery does not last long. Kenedy took this picture of Kefford while he was on the phone with it plugged in.

I took some pictures of some of my awesome Fall decor to send to my Mom. The wreath I made last year at our Super Saturday and I love it! The different pumpkins I got at the Holiday House Boo-tique, the top ones last year and the bottom ones this year. I love decorating with pumpkins and I love all of the different wooden ones I find.

Another picture of Kenedy Cheering. This one was taken at the Varsity Homecoming game. JV got to go and cheer with Varsity which was a lot of fun for her. She is the cute one on the end.
This is a picture of the entire squad taken before the game. Kenedy is bottom row 3rd from the left.

Katy Perry!

Tuesday was the day of the Katy Perry concert. Heather and I went walking that morning and then hung out at the house waiting for Mom and Ashleigh to get home from work. Once they got home we jumped in the car and headed to Downtown Disney for some Dinner. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe and it was really fun and the food was delicious. I ordered a Gaucamole Burger and oh boy it was tasty. I loved this restaurant because it had such a cool atmosphere. It was like we were in an actual Rainforest with tables and food :). Every half hour lightening and thunder would happen and that was pretty cool.
As a side note somehow Heather, Ashleigh and I all wore white. It was a happy accident. A couple of weeks earlier I ordered a really cute top to wear to the concert and of course it shipped the day before I left. So no new top for me to wear :( I just went with my plain white tee and jazzed it up with a cute necklace.
We walked around Downtown Disney a bit after dinner and I took a couple of pictures at the Lego store. The first one was for Avynlea since Belle is her favorite Princess and the second one was for Ryker.

We stopped at the sweets shop where we each got a treat and then I got some treats to take home to my family. I also got a really awesome Halloween bowl to add to my collection. :)

Then it was time to go see Katy Perry. It was such a fun concert, she puts on a really entertaining show. Some of it was a little bit much but overall I loved it and would definitely go see her again if given the chance. We were way up in the nose bleeds but it was not that big of a deal we still saw everything, just not up close. Heather bought fun glow in the dark glasses for us to wear and I think I wore mine the entire time.

They were handing out these prism glasses and the very last sone she sang was "Firework" and that is when we were told to put on our prism glasses. It was the coolest thing ever! The glasses amped up the lights and effects and made them even more magical, so, so cool!

Thanks goes to Heather for scoring the tickets and inviting me and thanks also to my family for letting me leave and have this fun time with my Mom and Sisters!!!
