Indoor Entertainment

Playing outside in the snow in McCall is great entertainment, luckily when it gets to be too cold the kids are able to find entertainment inside.

Playing in drawers is fun..

Playing games with your siblings is fun...

And just laying around on the floor is fun!

Winter Carnival

The Peterson Cabin was available for the weekend so we invited Ethan, Tia and Stirling to come up with us for the weekend. It happened to be the start of Winter Carnival so we went into town to check out the snow sculptures and wander around. 

It is always fun to see the deer out and about and we got to see them pretty close before they bounded off.

 It was snowing and cold but we all loved being able to walk around and see all of the amazing sculptures people were able to create with snow.

Rylee was all bundled up and happy as a little piglet in her Daddy's arms. Lucky little goose got to be carried around the entire time, no frozen toes for her!

 Later back at the cabin Kefford took the kids out to sled  and play in the snow for a while.

Pirate's

Ryker took inspiration from his Pirate's shirt and decided that he needed to dress like a pirate for the day. Of course little sister wanted to be a Pirate also and so they both rocked the hats, the swords and the Pirate mustache!

 I don't know why a picture of this couch was taken but I am glad it was. This was the first couch that Kefford and I bought as a Newlywed couple. I remember being so excited to go and pick it out and really loved it when we found it. It has seen newlyweds, new babies and new houses, it has a lot of history and has been a good couch.

 Forget playing with the blocks, Rylee would rather dump them out, sit in the box and eat her snacks. She had her priorities in order!

 Don't worry big brother will play with the blocks :)

Snow Fun

After church on Sunday Kenedy and Ryker spent some time making a cute snowman with all of the snow in the backyard. So many things about these pictures make me happy! I love that Ryker's cheeks get really red out in the cold, I love that we had to substitute a celery stick for the carrot nose since we didn't have any more carrots, I love that the snow was too hard to push the celery in so Kenedy had to hold it for the picture and I love that they are using gardening gloves since I don't have any snow gloves for them. 

 The next day brought more snow fun for Ryker and this time he had Avynlea bundle up so she could join him. They tried to make snow angels and then when that didn't work the best they just ate the snow :)

Avynlea's Baby

Avynlea got one of the leftover potatoes from dinner and had me wrap it up like a baby in a dish towel. She then loved that baby, rocked that baby, kissed on that baby and carried that baby all around the house. What a sweet little Mommy she is.
