Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!

I taught Dance that morning and when I was done I rushed over to Rylees school for her valentines party, she really wanted me to come. I got there too late for the food but in time to watch her open up her valentines. A kids first school valentines party is so exciting and fun.

Brylynn Cosper wanted to get in the picture with Rylee. What a funny kid!

Ryker had to make a valentines box for school and since he chose Hobbit valentines he made a hobbit house. He did a really great job on it!

I helped Avynlea make a valentine monster for her valentine box. So cute!

Kefford brought me home some beautiful flowers and chocolate. The two of us then went out to dinner at Famous Daves which was pretty delicious. I did not get any pictures of us because I left my camera at home so the kids could take pictures of their valentines dinner.

i sure do love my family!! O love this holiday also so that we can show love to all those around us. When Kefford and I got home I pulled out a balloon and a box of chocolate for each of my kids. I had to get the balloons because Rylee is always asking for a balloon when we go to the store. I am a good Mom! ;O)

Happy Birthday Bonnie!

My Mom came to Idaho for Avynleas Baptism and while she was here we got to celebrate her 68th birthday. I was really excited that her visit with us coincided with her Birthday. Yay for us in Idaho!! Of course I made her a special dinner... steak, homemade rolls, baked potatoes and a salad. Delicious! She even got to eat on our special plate!!
I bought a super duper yummy chocolate cake from Costco and doctored it us just a tad to fit our birthday needs.

Mom and I went to the mall one day and while we were there I watched her every move so that I could buy her something she liked for her Birthday. I finally decided to get her these really cute wedges. She liked them a lot but would have never bought then for herself. I think she was happy!

Rylee eating her piece of cake with a knife and fork cracks me up!

I think we made it a special day for her and I am really glad that she was here to visit.

Avynleas Baptism

I honestly had a hard time believing that my little Avynlea was 8 years old and getting baptized. She is such a precious girl and brings a lot of love and laughter into our home. I think it is extra special that she got to be baptized the same day that she turned 8! So fun and special. Avynlea was a lucky girl and got to be Baptized in the very same dress that I was once Baptized in. It is a dress that my Aunt made and I have had cousins, sisters and a niece wear this dress for their Baptisms. Such a fun Legacy! Unfortunately Kenedy did not wear this dress because we had forgotten its existence but that's OK. After she was Baptized Avynlea changed into a beautiful white dress that I made for her. She really looked so pretty! We had a lot of family and friends come to witness her being Baptized and afterwards Keffords dad took everyone out to eat at The Golden Corral. It was fun to be with family for a little while longer. We didn't go home to change and so Avynlea got a little bit of chocolate on her white dress which thankfully I have since managed to remove.

After dinner Avynlea opened her Birthday cards and presents from family and also her Baptism presents.

Because we ate at the Golden Corral the cake I ordered did not get cut into until the next day. When we were at Costco doing the order I read to Avynlea the list of cake themes and the one she wanted was the Beach theme. I thought that one sounded cool also. We all definitely love the beach!

5 Things I Love about Avynlea

1) Her personality is Awesome! I love being around Avynlea because she can make the funniest faces and say the funniest things. She is always making us laugh and I love her positive attitude.

2) She is so kind. Avynlea befriended the girl in the class who gets teased a lot by some of the other kids. Avy genuinely likes her too and tells me all the time how fun she is.

3) Avynlea is super helpful to me and usually is willing to be of service. If I need something done I can usually count on Avynlea to be the first to volunteer.

4) Avynlea does really great in school. Her reading has improved so much this year and her teacher loves her. She is also getting to be a great piano player. I love listening to her tinker on the piano.

5) Avynlea loves Primary and is always excited to go to church. She is a willing participant in our daily scripture readings and has a very bright Testimony!
