Happy 8th Birthday Kenedy!

To celebrate Kenedy's 8th Birthday she decided she wanted to have a lunchtime Tea Party with her friends. I found some Tea cups with matching plates at the Goodwill and used the plate as the invitation. When the girls came to the party they were to bring their plates and then they found their matching cup. The girls were encouraged to wear their fanciest dress to our little party and everyone looked really cute. Rylee was napping during this party and Ryker and Avynlea got to spend their time during the party playing at Sister Josi's house.
First I had some of my scrapbooking stuff out so the girls could use their creativity to make some fun cards.
For food I made different kinds of sandwiches and we also had sliced apples, cheese, meats and crackers with Lemonade to drink out of their tea cups. I had their plates resting on doilies and it all looked nice and fancy.

After the food Kenedy was able to open her gifts.

Lauryn Warner and Megan Warner
Ashlyn Biggs and Natalia Giauque
Lexus Woodward and Cassie Porter
Unfortunately I cannot remember the names of these girls, they were our neighbors in Turtle Creek

Once the gifts were open we had pink and lime green cupcakes for the birthday girl, her favorite colors.
Kenedy's friend Sara came late to the party but we were happy to have her come and were able to show her a good time as well, just on a smaller scale :)
Later that night after the party guests left and our family came home we had Little Caesars pizza and breadsticks with a salad for Kenedy's Birthday dinner. We all got to sing to Kenedy and have more yummy cupcakes!

Precious Little Girls

When I was little my Mom dressed Heather, Emily and I in matching dresses. I don't remember if I loved it or not, but what I do love is dressing my girls in matching outfits. It is so fun and they look so cute in these matching red and black dresses. I love that Kenedy's is just a little bit different then the other two. She is about 5 years older then Avynlea and it's fun that she could match with her sisters while having a bit more mature look ;)

Having a piano means lots of playing time for the ones not taking piano lessons. It is good to start practicing your skills when you are young :)
I don't know what it is about baby faces with food all over them but it is so cute and Rylee always looks adorable after eating. She is pretty good at making the faces also!

Happy 3rd Birthday Avynlea!

Avynlea turned three and she is the cutest 3 year old! She got to open some presents at home and then we went to the farm for the day and she got to have cake and open more presents with her Peterson Family!
New clothes are always a fun birthday gift and putting them on to wear that day is even better!
We picked a Backyaradigans theme for the party decorations because that is a show Avynlea loves to watch. But for the Birthday cake we strayed from the theme and got a Butterfly cake from Fred Myers.
At least the colors matched the decorations!
Avynlea is such a cute and spunky little three year old and we are forever grateful that she joined our family!
