Fathers Day, and camping

On Fathers Day I woke the kids up so they could come down and make a french toast breakfast for their Dad. We bought a card the day before and in between getting things ready I had them each sign the card which is what Kenedy was doing in the below picture.
Kefford is not one to lounge around in bed and was already up and showered by the time the kids had his breakfast ready. He came out to eat and while he ate we gave him the signed card with their words of love for their Dad. I did not get any other pictures this day, it was a bit of a rough day. But we also got him some KitKat bars, a package of Oreos and the new Lego batman movie. I think he had a good day and enjoyed being loved. In church all the men got a can of root beer with special packaging on it that said "World's Best POP" it was a really cute and fun idea.

The next morning Kenedy left for the Linder Ward Girls Camp at 6:00 in the morning. The YCL's left earlier then the other campers to get things set up and ready. I did not get a picture of her before she left but I did get a picture of our newest first year camper! Avynlea was so excited and ready to go. Even though we are not in the Linder Ward anymore my girls have special connections with their YW and Leaders. This, quite possibly, is Kenedy's last year of Girl's Camp and it was important to her to be able to go with the girls she has been gong to camp with since her first year. We were all really happy when they received special permission to go with the Linder Ward.

While the two girls were gone Ryker and Rylee set up his tent in the backyard to have their own kind of "campout". It started raining with thunder and lightening in the middle of the night and when I came out the next morning I found them asleep on the Living Room floor where they ended up once the rains came.
Ryker had to go and rescue his tent from by the rabbit hutch where it blew during the night.
