Kefford turned 38 on Monday June 9th and like most birthdays around here, it was pretty low key. I let Rylee and Avynlea wrap his presents and they added extra decoration and love notes with a sharpie. We had hamburgers for dinner which was his request and I also did corn on the cob, watermelon and chips all to go with the burgers. It was a lot of meal and we all got quite full so after dinner we lounged around for a little while and then had the present opening.
Kefford was not happy that the Robin Hood BluRay he ordered from Ebay, specifically because it was the only one he could find with a sleeve, came in a regular case and not the blue BluRay case. He was so bugged by that.
Kefford had a hand in picking out his presents so nothing was a surprise to him. Luckily he had a present from Joshua that he did not know about. It was definitely a huge surprise to I'm to open and see what he was sent.
The kids thought it was historical and all had to try on the horse head.

Kenedy has girls camp this week and so she packed the horse head to take with her to scare her tent mates. I wish I could be there to see all that go down. :)
I bought this delicious chocolate cake from Costco and once we sang Happy Birthday we all ate a small piece. It is super rich and chocolately and so a small piece is all any of us could handle.
Happy Birthday to Kefford! We love him so much and are so glad he is a part of our family!
