Ward "Christmas Train" Party

Saturday was our Ward Christmas Party. It was a breakfast and it had a Christmas train theme. I heard the committee were going to do a Polar Express theme but wanted to keep away from the whole Santa Claus thing and so it turned into a more generic Christmas Train Party. I thought it was a lot of fun and I know the kids had fun. We were supposed to make and decorate "Christmas Train Cars". Rylee and Avynlea were the only ones who wanted to make them and so they did. They picked out the color to paint the cars, painted them and then told me what picture they wanted which I drew with glue and then they sprinkled the glitter on. They turned out simple but cute and at least they had something.

Rylee decided she needed to comb her hair with the Dinglehoppers that were on the tables. She makes me laugh!

Kenedys friend Anna spent the night and so she came to the party with us.

Bishop Buttars had the Engine of the train and he pulled it around the room with the kids following in their cars. Once they circled the room they stopped at different stations to make crafts, do service, or get a Book of Mormon to share with a family for missionary work.
