The kids managed to wait until 6:00 before knocking on our door. I was super impressed that I didn't hear any noise until then. Of course Rylee came in our room in the middle of the night to say she had a bad dream, so she was in our bed. Her movement during the night did not help Kefford and I with getting much sleep. So when the kids came knocking we let them bring in their stockings to open what was inside. They have a lot in their stockings and Santa wraps everything in their and so it took them a bit to open what was in their. After they were done we had them make their beds and put their stocking stuff on their beds and then once they combed their hair they were ready to go down to see what Santa had brought.
Kenedy was in Home Ec the first semester of school and had to sew heat bags and pillowcases. She decided to make them for her siblings as Christmas gifts. I was really impressed with her sewing skills and happy that she went into doing the projects with the idea for using them as Christmas gifts.
Rylee and Avynlea had a shared present which was two bears to stuff and they came with princess dresses to dress them in.
Rylee made a present in school and I loved that on the "Wrapping" she had a Moms side and a Dads side.
Ryker got a bow with some arrows.
Rylee and Avynlea both got new scooters.
Kenedy got some new clothes.
Avynlea showed us how she brushes her Hamsters fur with a toothbrush. We were wondering what happened to Kenedys toothbrush! ;)
I gave the younger three $5 each to spend at the "Santa Store" at their school with the instructions to only buy for the other people in the family, they could not buy for themselves. They followed the instructions and had so mch fun shopping for each other. I got this red ornament from Avynlea.

Ryker got a little present for Trinity which was sweet.
About five years go on a trip to DisneyLand Ryker got selected for the Jedi Training school and got to fight Darth Maul. I finally framed his certificate and a cute picture of him fighting and gave those to him for Christmas.
Rylee got her Daddy a stocking.
Rylee and Avynlea had to open these presents at the same time which they wondered about.
They both got an American Girl Doll which was very exciting! They both have been wanting one and after talking it over with Kefford we decided they were too expensive and that we were not gong to do it. I told Avynlea that and she said too me that it was OK she understood and to just give her the loom bands she wanted. She was so sweet about it that I told Kefford we might want to rethink our decision. He over heard Avy telling Rylee that they were not going to get the Dolls because they were too expensive and Rylee told Avy that Santa would bring them to them. So we decided to go ahead and do it and I am so glad that we did. Avynlea was genuinely surprised when she opened her present but not Rylee, she knew Santa would deliver!
Ryker was excited to get a guitar and kept saying he could quit taking piano now. Sorry buddy no such luck.
After opening a bunch of movies and Wii games that could have been movies, Kenedy could not figure out why she did not get the one movie she wanted above all. She was extra confused when she was handed a tissue box to open.
Kenedy was very excited to find the coveted movie inside.
She also was happy to get a drink bottle with a visa gift card inside.
After Santa gifts we opened Secret Person gifts.

After that they opened Gifts from Grandma Bonnie. Money, suckers, popcorn and family pictures.
