The High School play being put on this year was The Adams Family. Kenedy tried out along with two of her friends. Her best friend got the lead role of Wednesday and Kenedy and Megan were both cast as Ancestors. Kenedy was so excited to be in it and so happy for Lauryn to have the lead role. Unfortunately because of cheer conflicts Kenedy had to drop out which was really sad for her. But being the great friend that she is she was really excited to go and watch them perform. The Mia-Maids were all going to watch it on thursday night for a mutual activity and so I took Avy and Rylee with me to watch it at the same time.
We got there early enough that we had front row seats and the perfect view of the performance. We all really liked the play and I loved seeing Kenedy's friends perform. I thought it ran way too long, it started at 7 and we did not get home until after 10, and think they could have started a little earlier but whatever. I guess not everyone brings kids with them who need to be home sleeping at that late hour. It was a fun play and Rylee thought parts of it were hysterical and could not stop laughing about the absurdity.

Some of the Young Women had roses to give the girls afterwards and I commented that they really should tear the buds off the stem right before handing them over to be super authentic to the play. So they did and it was funny and really appropriate.
