Memorial

While I stayed in Meridian waiting for my family to arrive Kefford took the kids to Nyssa for his grandparents memorial and grave dedication. It was really casual and Kefford said a lot of his extended family was there which was awesome.
Avynlea and Ally carried the ashes in the pickup with Trista and when it came time to put the ashes in the grave Rylee asked if she could do it and was told yes. She went to the boxes and started to open one thinking she needed to dump the ashes into the grave but Avy told her not to do that and when Rylee closed the box back up Avynlea and Jack Hansen put the boxes in the grave.
Bob said a few words talking about his parents and their legacy. He gave some words of wisdom to his family telling them if they were not going to church then they needed to look into what their parents/grandparents believed and read the book of mormon for themselves. It was important to Marge and Farrell and it should be important to them. He then had Larry dedicate the grave. The graveyard they were buried in is right next to the church where Kefford's grandparents attended church and that his parents and some siblings still go to which I think is cool.
I am glad Kefford could attend with the kids and I am grateful for Marge and Farrell for the way they lived their lives which is an example to me and for all the love they had for their family.
