The morning after we got back from our Redwoods trip Kenedy headed off for an overnight backpacking trip. She and Avynlea went to Girls Camp with our old Ward and Kenedy was a YCL. Sara Partridge the Linder Ward Young Womens leader wanted to do a leadership retreat with the YCL's before camp but was not able to work it out so they scheduled it for after camp. They all wanted Kenedy to come along but were not sure it could work out because they did not have enough space in the car. While we were in California Sara sent me a text saying one of the girls backed out and they now had enough room for Kenedy. She knew we were gone and not getting back until the night before they had to leave so she said she would take care of getting a pack ready for Kenedy and that all she had to bring were her personal items.
Kenedy had a lot of fun and was really glad that she was able to go. She loved being with the other girls and being able to bond more with them. Lauryn was not able to go to Girls camp which was super disappointing to Kenedy but it was great that they could have this camping overnighter to be together.

While Kenedy was gone Rylee found her bathing suit and she and Avy had a little photo shoot with her in it. They did add some padding to the bum area, silly girls.
