December Randoms

There have been a lot of single moment pictures taken this December that seem too small for one post and so I gathered them all together and put them into this single post.
First up was our Ward Christmas Breakfast on December 2nd. We got to eat yummy breakfast casseroles, muffins, cereal and fruit while visiting with friends from the Ward. Rylee stayed true to form and ate an entire plate of cut up oranges. We do not have to worry about a lack of vitamin C for this girl! After we ate, the Primary kids got up and sang a lovely Christmas song. Rylee looked so cute up there signing with the smaller kids, she has a year and a couple of months left in Primary and I will miss these days when they are gone.
Later that day I took Avynlea and Rylee over to the middle school to watch "The Best Worst Christmas Pageant Ever". One of the Ladies in our Ward had a part in this play and she sent out a message on Facebook that we could buy tickets from her for $5 each instead of the $6-$7 it would have cost at the door. I thought that sounded like fun and thought it would be fun to see if any of Kefford's family wanted to go also. I sent a text out a couple of weeks before and only heard back from Brit and she was excited to go with us and take her older four.
I really enjoyed watching this play. The first part was kind of so-so for me but as it was going through the second half I started really enjoying it more and then the end came and I felt the Spirit so strong. It was the perfect way to start the Christmas season. I thought it was such a great message about the reason for the season and am glad that we were able to go and that Brit and her kids came along. It was a fun Moms and Kids date.
Kenedy wanted to put Christmas lights in her car and Kefford pulled out a strand of battery operated lights that he had on hand. He and Avynlea had fun putting them on and making themselves look super festive.
1, 2, 3, 4 I declare a thumb war. 5, 6, 7, 8 better keep your thumb straight.
Kefford and Rylee had fun playing a game of thumb wars.
We moved Bonnie into the garage for the winter because we didn't want him to freeze outside. Kefford brought him inside one day for a moment so he could feed him a carrot. I thought he looked so cute cuddling with Bonnie, though you can hardly see him since his black fur is camoflauging with Kefford's black sweatshirt.
Avynlea was eating some goldfish one Saturday with her lunch and she was surprised and excited to discover a random Cars shaped goldfish mixed in with all of the regular shaped fish.
Kenedy applied to Utah State and one day while she was at work a letter came from the school. She didn't get home before I wanted to go to bed so I made Kefford promise me she would not open it without me. They came into my room once she got home so she could open it and she was excited to get her first college acceptance letter! She also applied for and received the Western Undergraduate Exchange scholarship which gives her a tuition rate closer to instate tuition. Kenedy was really happy about this acceptance and would like to go there but she still needs to finish her applications for the BYU schools and see if she gets in to Provo or Rexburg before she can commit to a school.
I thought it was cute that this night during family scripture study that Rylee was cuddling a little with Kenedy. You can't tell in the picture but Rylee has her arm around Kenedy. It was a sweet sisters moment.
Avynlea had her friend Natalie over to hang out after they went to do Baptisms at the Temple and before Mutual. Natalie taught us a fun cups game and after we played for a while Avynlea made a cup tower that she was pretty proud of.
