Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was on Sunday this year and we only had Sacrament Meeting which was nice. After we came home we took a family picture and then I hurried to finish getting dinner ready. We had invited Brit, Kelsey and their kids over for Christmas Eve dinner and to hang out.
I didn't do too much pre-planning for this dinner and decided other then the Turkey to just use what we had around the house. Brit was bringing funeral potatoes and a dessert and I did a turkey, rolls, watergate salad and Avynlea made rainbow jello. We had red and green jello and we thought it would be fun to do a Christmas themed jello. It was really easy for her to put together and I thought it looked super festive and it tasted delicious!
After we ate we visited for a while while the kids planned out a Nativity.
We had Rylee as the Narrator, Brielle as Mary, Asher as Joseph, Qiana a wise lady, Avynlea an Angel, Ryker the Inn Keeper, Tayvia was a sheep and Xander was a cow.
They did a great job and it was fun to have the Nativity with more then just our normal 4.

I am so glad that we had Kelesys family over, we had a really great time and enjoyed the company.
After they left the kids got to open their new pajamas and ornaments.
This year Rylee got a gingerbread house, Kenedy got Dumbo, Avynlea got Captain America and Ryker got Grumpy. They loved their ornaments and they look so cute in their new pajamas which they also loved.
Avynlea thought it would be fun to recreate a Christmas Eve picture from 2009 that she saw on our 2009 blog book and with Kefford's help we did the best we could.
Cannot believe how grownup my kids are getting
