Getting Through December

For neighbor gifts this year I bought bottles of Sprite and I created a label that says..

"May all your days be
Merry
&
Sprite
And may all your Christmases be white
Love,
The Peterson's"

I used white ribbon to create bows for the top and they looked adorable. I put together 30 bottles and after handing them out to neighbors and friends I was left with one.

On Sunday December 19th I pulled down our fancy glasses and opened a bottle of martinelli's that we had lying around. Kefford sat across from me and after we were done with our meal I saw that his glass was sending me a sweet message. I love finding hearts in random things and this was a fun find.
Kenedy came home from school for winter break and we were all happy to have her home. On Monday night, December 20th, we were all hanging out downstairs talking and having fun. Rylee got a hold of my phone and took random pictures of everyone. Not the most flattering but... whatever.
Out neighbor, Alex Cole, created a light display in his front yard and Kefford asked him if he would add Merry Christmas Kefford to be a part of the light show and he told him he would. On Tuesday night December 21 all of us got in the car to go to Fred Meyer for some things and when we drove by the Coles house Kefford had us stop so we could see if he actually put Merry Christmas Kefford in his light show. We waited and recorded for about 8 minutes, because we didn't want to miss it, before Merry Christmas Kefford indeed came up on the display. It was super fun to see and Kefford got out so we could get a picture of him. It scrolled pretty quick and for some reason went backwards but you can see the K and e start of Kefford's name in the pictures we snapped.
My girls wanted to do another playdate with the Heslop girls over winter break and Wednesday December 22rd was the date that worked for all of us. Rylee walked down to their house at 4:00 to pick them up and we had them come in their pajamas because we were having a pajama party. Kenedy and Rylee started off the fun by painting their nails which the girls really liked. We had music playing and I brought down some of Avynlea's Calico Critters and when they weren't getting their nails painted they were playing and dancing.
Emeline
Catherine and
Hazel
Ginny also got her nails done but I missed getting her picture.

We made English muffin pizzas for dinner and once we ate the girls went upstairs to watch a movie and eat popcorn.

They played hide and seek and had Hot Chocolate and cookies ad everyone had a really fun time. At about 8:00 we took them home. It was a fun night and we loved having the Heslop girls over.

On Thursday December 23rd Avynlea and I went to the mall to do gift wrap for a cheer fundraiser. Amy and Paige also worked our shift and it was a lot of fun being with them. We wrapped a lot of gifts and made the day for a lot of people who were out doing last minute Christmas shopping and either didn't have time to wrap or just didn't want to wrap. After our shift was done we bought rolled ice cream for Paige and Avynlea and then went home. Natalie and Paige came over after a little bit to hang out with Avynlea and they had fun doing tricks they saw on TikTok.
