With The Lutes Kids

After we got back to Idaho from the wedding I had two days and then after dance on Monday, it was picture day and my kids looked adorable, I flew to Utah to watch Joshuas kids while he and Mallory took a Birthday trip to New York. I was super excited to watch the kids again and we had a lot of fun. I got to their home after they had already gone to bed so I didn't see the kids until the next morning when I had to wake them up to go to school. I dropped the boys off at school and then Leona and I came back home to get her ready for Preschool and pretty quickly I had to take her to her school. Once the kids were off I took Wyndemere on a long walk thinking I was being nice by letting him come along but the joke was on my because I swear the dog made me stop every could of minutes so he could pee. I was beginning to think he had a UTI with how often we were stopping and how little he was actually letting out. After talking to Joshua later that night and telling him about it he said I just needed to be firm and not let Wyndemere stop for bathroom breaks. When we went the next day it went better and I was very firm in keeping him walking and not stopping a lot. We walked for about and hour and half both days and he did a good job of keeping up, the second day we did cover more ground because I would not let him stop to pee so often.

After school I took the kids to the park and they had fun running around and playing.
The next day Amos and Frederick requested that I put do their hair in Mohawks. They absolutely loved the finished result and for the rest of the week we did Mohawks in their hair. I even gave them a tutorial on how to do it themselves once I was gone. After school they told me that their friends loved their hair and they just shone all week sporting their new hair styles.
Kenedy came over and She went with Leona and I to the library and a couple of stores, I needed to exchange a dress and I did not feel a need to replace it with one for me so I sent some pictures to Rylee to pick out a dress for her. While we were driving Leona and I were talking about something and couldn't agree and the fact, I do not remember what it was about. After a bit of back and forth I said that we should just agree to disagree but then I said "but ding dong you're wrong". Immediately in her sassiest voice Leona responded back with "ding dong I'm right". Kenedy and I just looked at each other and laughed so hard, it was really good.

Leona is in a gymnastics class that meets right after her preschool class on Thursdays. This week was a showcase week and I got to go in and watch her perform. I had a lot of fun watching and cheering Leona on. She did such a great job and I was so proud of her. I made sure to take. a lot of pictures and video to send to her parents.
After a week of seeing her brothers Mohawks Leona wanted one as well so I gave her a faux hawk and she looked super cute. After the boys got out of school we packed up some popsicles in a cooler and Andrew and I took them to the park. I was heading home that night and wanted one last fun thing to do with the Lutes kids. After the park I drove myself to the airport and left Joshuas car in the parking lot for him and Mallory who were on their way home and I caught my flight and went home. It was a fun and busy week and I would always love the opportunity to be with these cute kids.
