Kefford found a couch set on Facebook marketplace that he needed me to pick up because he was not going to be home in time. I was happy to go get it for him but trying to fit the couches in the bed and the cushions in the cab with me made for a very tight drive home.
It is Rylee's last day of High School! I am so happy for her and know she is so excited to graduate and move in with her life. She has been such a good student and will continue to do amazing things in her life.
I ordered a suit from the Mens Warehouse for Ryker and when it came he tried it on and had me take some pictures to send to Anna. She approved his look and I had to get a picture of me being funny with my foot, she liked that one also :).
The day of my last dance recital of my teaching career was finally upon us and I was excited to watch my little dancers perform. This has been a really great year with one of the best groups of kids I have had. I feel lucky to have been given this opportunity to teach dance so many years ago and have really loved my time with Elevated Dance Project. I will miss being with the littles and appreciate all of the ones I have now and that have come before. They have all in some part left an imprint on my heart.

My Kinderstars did a Tap dance to a song called "I Love You This Much" and every single one of them performed so well and had so much fun on the stage.
The parents all left the kids with me to find their seats and as we were heading to the stage I noticed that I was missing Brennan. I thought maybe her Mom had taken her to the bathroom and didn't tell me and though maybe we would meet up with them backstage but they were not there. I was starting to freak out and had another parent go and check the bathrooms but she was not there. After about a minute of frantic searching an older dancer Brough Brennan to me and said she found her outside the auditorium alone and crying. I was so thankful that she was found but I was so scared and have never had something like that happen to me before, it was not a good feeling but I am so glad she was found before anything terrible happened.

My TinyStars did their dance to "Teddy Bear Picnic" and honestly it is one of my favorites, they did so good. We have one boy in the class and his Mom has had to combine every week to dance class and even with her in class he barely dances, he is usually sitting on his Moms lap. I was wondering how he would do on stage and we were prepared for him to not even go on the stage but he exceeded expectations, got up on the stage and did the dance. I was so proud of him and of all of my tiny dancers. This year I had so many kids that Melissa had Meggan assist the class with me. After about a month I felt like I was good to take it on my own but I didn't know how to tell Meggan she wasn't needed so I just didn't say anything and she assisted me all year. It was not bad to have another adult in the room and I appreciated all that Meggan did to help me out. She is taking over the littles classes next year and I know she will do a great job.
