White Elephant

On Black Friday Heather, Mallory and I went to the Lego store and I bought this Santa sleigh set. I had a lot of fun putting it together until I realized I ws missing the sticker pack that should have been in the box. It was pretty easy to go online and have Lego send me a replacement pack but int he meantime I will have to wait to finish building until it comes.

Saturday December 7th Rylee and I went and helped Cyndi and the Dance Connection at a Nutcracker Tea Party they were putting on for their dancers. Rylee and I were in charge of the treats table and we had an enjoyable time overseeing the yummy treats. Amos was getting baptized in Utah while we were at the Tea Party but we were able to watch it on Zoom and I am so glad we were able to. it was nice to feel a part of the Baptism even though we could not be there.
Mom gave a talk and Kenedy led the music

This years Friends Christmas party theme was Home Alone. We had to dress up like someone or something from Home Alone. I chose to wear my brown Nike sweats and go as a "filthy Animal". Remember the movie within the movie and the classic line "Keep the change ya filty animal"? Well that was what I chose to portray and I was a reindeer. I was pretty proud of how I did my makeup and had a hard time "ruining" it by making my face look filthy. I used black eyeshadow for the "filthy" part and was really conservative my first go around but then added more to make myself a little more filthy.

Kefford went as Harry Lime, one of the theirs, he found a coat at goodwill and made himself a retainer with a tooth blacked out to represent ent Harry got hit in the face with a bowling ball and knocked out a tooth. I thought Kefford di a good job on his costume and we need up being the only "harry" and "filthy animal" at the party!

I am glad that I had Erica to hang out with at the party. Socializing can be a struggle for me and she is one of my comfort people whose I really enjoy being around.

Kefford and I took for our bad gift a gnome Christmas decoration we had and v=never used and Kefford found a University of Utah Gnome at the thrift store that we bought to go with it. For the good gift we brought back the Top Golf gift card we got last year. Unfortunately this was not our year and we ended up with two bad gifts, better luck next time.
