Lindsay Hurst did Rylee's Senior Photos in the fall but Lindsay isn't happy with the lighting and how they turned out and said she would do them again in the spring for free. Rylee wasn't thrilled with how she looked in her pictures and wanted to do them again in the Spring so she could have more flowers in her pictures. Before we headed over to the park for Rylee's pictures we stopped at Trader Joes to get some flowers for her to hold in her pictures. Unfortunately they did not have a ton of variety at all but we bought two bouquets that Rylee liked and ended up loving once we mixed them and she saw them in the photos. The pictures were taken at Katherine Albertson Park and Ann Morrison. Once done there we headed over to the Boise train Depot where we got some more pictures. We had her BSU stuff because of my waiting in line to get them but her Owyhee Cap and Gown hadn't been handout yet so we borrowed a set from a girl in our Ward who had graduated a couple of years earlier from Owyhee. It was Addi Bjorn, she is on her mission but her Mom was so kind to agree to us borrowing it.
Once we got to the Train Depot we were wrapping up the pictures when Lindsay wanted to get some pictures of Rylee with the water feature. She had her take her shoes off and stand on the rocks that had water flowing down them into the small pool below. Rylee got on the rock and almost immediately slipped because it was wet and slid down the rocks to land in the water getting completely wet except for her head. I just started laughing, Lindsay felt awful and stopped taking pictures to try to help her out, I told her to take a picture and she snapped one before getting Rylee out. She was completely soaked and the water made her dress basically see through. The only thing I had with me to cover her was her BSU gown so I wrapped it around her and we laughed and laughed about it. Thank heavens we were just about done because this ended the shoot for sure.
