Lacrosse Senior Night

For our Young Women activity our girls had the fun idea to do a board night. Everyone was to drink a board filled with a theme food. it honestly was so much fun and everyone killed it with their boards. I didn't really want to go to the store that day and I had some peeps so I used those for my board, I did a peep board.

Claire Eaton: Sushi Board, Layne Johnson: nuts and crackers board and Elizabeth: Peep Board

Kate: Soda Board,  Nora Lewis: Candy Board and Makenna Lindley: Chips and Dip Board
Avery Ham: Fruit and Dip Board, Casha Shoemaker: Ice Cream Sundae Board and Sophie Hansen: Fries Board

Senior Night for Lacrosse was coming up and as a countdown her coaches did a spotlight for each girl on Instagram. I loved the Spotlight for Rylee and had to take a screenshot so I could keep it.
I invited Alison and Whitney to come to Senior Night for Rylee. Alison obviously wanted to come and Whitney had told me she wanted to come to one of Rylee's games and this one was a good one to come to. I am glad they were able to come and take pictures and video of Rylee, Kefford and I for when she was announced and we walked out with her. Her teammates did posters for all of the Seniors and they all signed the back with sweet messages, so cute.

All of the Senior Spotlight stuff was done before the game and after it was over we settled in to watch Rylee and her team. Almost immediately, within seconds of starting, we learned that this game was going to be different. Our girls were on fire and offense kept getting the ball and getting goal after goal after goal. After the first two which happened within one minute of the game starting Whitney turned to me and said is this normal. I laughed and said not at all. Our team has done not bad this year but never has it been like this with us dominating from the beginning. After the first half we were so far in the lead that our coaches started putting defense in for offense and mid so they could have turns making goals. Rylee was the last one to finally agree to go in for Mid and she made the final goal of the game. it was so fun cheering for her and she was so excited after she made her goal. I did feel bad for the other team because we have been in that position in the past and I know how it feels but I was happy that we had such a great game on Senior Night for our girls.
