Halloween Dance

Avynlea has been having some struggles on her mission, she has been doubting herself and feeling like she isn't doing as much as she should be. I happened upon this quote from Hank Smith who always has great things to say and thought it was perfect for Avynlea to hear. I took a screenshot and sent it to her and hope that she can believe the words he is saying.

Dance class was fun the week of Halloween. I always tell my parents that they can dress up in their Halloween costumes and I typically have most dress up with one or two not doing it. This year was my first year having someone dress up as a soccer ball, she was adorable and I have had more girls dress up as princesses this year then ever before. It was a lot of fun to see them in their costumes and we had a lot of fun dancing to spooky music. I threw something together last minute because while I always dress up along with my kids this year I could not come up with any ideas. I finally decided to pull out a pink skirt I made years ago and I borrowed a leotard from the studio and bought some ballet pink tights from the studio as well. I put my hair in a bun and found a hairpiece that I could manipulate into looking like a crown and I was a ballerina.

I took the picture about 15 minutes into class thinking everyone was there but a little bit after we got the picture hazel rolled in so I took a quick snap of them all sitting on their spots to include her in it. She is wearing the purple outfit in the second row towards the end.
I have an assistant this year in my tiny stars class because I started the year off with 14 and a couple on the waitlist and Melissa felt I needed an assistant with so many kids. I have since moved some up to my Kinderstars class so I don't have quite as many but I do have 12, two were missing this day, and it is nice to have another person in the room helping with crowd control and getting things set up.

Sunday was the Primary program at church and one of the few Sundays a year that Kefford gets to sit with us. Rylee snapped this picture of Kefford making his way off the stand to come sit with us in the audience.
