Scheel's take 2 and Voting

After being at Scheels that week and seeing how inexpensive it was to ride the Ferris wheel I thought it would be a fun Young Women activity. I originally thought that the girls could dress in their Halloween costumes and ride the Ferris wheel but while they liked the idea of the Ferris wheel, wearing a costume was not something they were thrilled about. I should have known that 14 year old girls would not want to dress up and that was ok, I told them we were not going to do that but we would go to Scheels and just ride the Ferris wheel.
After my experience on the ride with Kefford I was not about to go on it again but Erica and Layne talked me into it and I decided I could be brave and get on the ride. It was a little bit better this time around because Layne and Erica did a better job of holding still thus the car we were in did not rock like when I went on with Kefford.

The guy at the door who we asked to buy tokens from for the ride gave them to us for free which was super nice. The ride only costs a dollar but it was still nice of them to give us all the ride for free. Once we were done we took some pictures at the picture spot and then I let the girls go into the candy store and gave them each a $3 budget to get some candy. It was a fun night and I enjoyed being with the girls.

On Halloween I went to the city hall and cast my ballot for the 2025 Presidential election. I decided to do it early rather then wait for Election Day because ei thought it would go quicker and not be as busy. The line was pretty long but it moved really fast and I felt I did not waste my time going early. Walking out with my I voted sticker made me really happy and I was really proud to have gone in and voted for Donald Trump to be our 47th President. I am nervous for how the election will go but I trust in my Heavenly Father and I feel really good about where I cast my vote.
