Sunday morning we packed up and left McCall. As soon as we got back Ryker and Anna were heading out to get back to school and Rylee and Ryker had me open their gifts to me before they left. From Rylee I got Paul Hollywoods cookbook which I am really excited about. I love him on The Great British Baking Show and am excited to learn some of his recipes. Ryker got me the cookbook stand which I have been wanting and I ws also excited about that. The perfect gifts to give together, I can display the cookbook in my kitchen and also use the stand to hold my place in the book open for when I am using it to bake.
I had to get a picture of me and Ryker together since this was the first birthday in three years that we got to spend together, it was a momentous occasion.
Later after church I opened my other presents which was Nike sweatpants and sweatshirt, athleta gift cards, Nike socks, and my favorite chocolates from See's, Milk Chocolate California Brittle. It was a really good birthday and I loved being able to celebrate with family.
Sunday after church we had a Linger Longer and while we were sitting in the chapel Rylee took a picture of the three of us. Our Linger longer always start with a special musical number and then we have a prayer and then it is an immediate dash from the primary boys as soon as the amen is said to the cookies. It is always pretty funny to hear the stomping to the table of cookies.
