Mallory sent a picture of Fredrick right after his cast came off. I am so glad that he healed so quick and now we can put a bow on this story of Fredrick and his broken arm and put it to bed.
I have been wanting a couch in the piano room to have more space for seating and I wanted it to be a couch bed so we could also have more space for when company comes. Kefford and I found this couch on Marketplace and we really excited that it met our expectations for size, color and that it can turn into a bed. After we put it in the room I rearranged the desk and bought some pillows to add some color and decor. I love how it turned out and I love that we now have more space for visitors.
We have been wanting to pave over our dirt patch in the back of the backyard for years now but never were quite ready to pull the trigger. This year we were going to be hosting an Open House for Yorker and Anna in our backyard and Kefford saw the need to finally get it done. We asked dour friend Russ Pollock form the Verona Ward to do it for us because his business is landscaping. In order to try to save some money Kefford dug out the dirt and got the tiny rocks we needed to put down on his own. He did a good job, it was a lot harder and time consuming then he thought but I think he enjoyed playing farm boy again with his tractor.
I bought the kit to make this Halloween banner a couple years ago and when I was looking for a quick project to do I came across this and decided to get it done. It turned out super cute and I can't wait to have it hung up for Halloween.
I got the kit to make this little quilt for my sewing machine to rest on in a quilting favorite things box last Christmas. I was able to get this project done and now my machine has a nice little quilt to rest on and I have pockets in the quilt that I can use for storage
