Avynlea is coming home!!! I am so excited and cannot wait to give her the biggest hug!
Their mission does a mission wide testimony zoom meeting the Sunday night before transfer day for all the outgoing missionaries to share their testimonies. Families were invited to tune in and I got up early Monday morning so that I could listen in. I loved being able to listen to Avynlea and hear her testimony. She is so special to me and has done such a good job on her mission. I love her so much and am so proud of all that she has done.
I started this shark quilt back in the early days of my quilting. I cut everything out and started sewing pieces together but very quickly I got overwhelmed and it was a harder pattern that I was struggling with so I put it away to worry about for another time. The time finally came for me to pull out the shark quilt and get it finished and I think because of all the other quilts I have made that it has helped me and this quilt came together so nice and easier. I love ho9w it turned out, the sharks are so cute and I am so happy I was able to finish it.
Ashleigh and her kids and Mom came to town for Avynlea's homecoming and for Ryker and Anna's open house and I was so happy for them to be here. We were outside enjoying the sunshine and I was playing this little piggy with Abby and she was loving it. I love having my nieces and nephews around and being able to establish relationships with them despite the distance is so great.
The morning of Avynlea coming home Ashleigh and her kids plus Kenedy, Ryker and Anna and I went to a flower farm to cut flowers for the open house.None of us had ever done anything like that before and it was a lot of fun picking and cutting the flowers. I think Anna really enjoyed it and I had fun watching her find joy amongst the flowers.
