Ferret Bath
Hey, Hi, Hello!!

So much has happened this week, it's felt like 30 days, not 8! But I have officially finished my first transfer!

We got transfer news this Saturday! Me and Sister Mansius are... staying companions! I am so excited! I love her so much! But wait! There is more... we are getting a brand new trainee! Yes, we are going to be trio training! Ah I am actually so excited. I just basically get a new friend! I cant wait to meet her tomorrow!!
The reason we are trio training is because the mission split! We are going to be getting so many sisters! HOW EXCITING!! So now my mission is Arizona Phoenix West!
This last week we did exchanges with the Hermanas so I got to be Hermana Peterson for the day! It was a lot of sitting in lessons just listening to the Spanish! It was very satisfying to listen to. I did also learn a bit of Spanish myself! I know:¡Hola! Somos las misioneros por Jesucristo
And a very simple prayer. They were all sweet and impressed when I whipped those out! They were also impressed with how tall I am haha. But hey! Who isn't?

We got to see Heidi one last time before she moves! We helped her out by giving her ferret - Dirtbag - and her dog - Moses - baths. It was the weirdest experience washing a ferret. I think everyone should try it...Sorry for the long email, here is my spiritual thought!

We talked to a mom and her two daughters at a park. I did the usual: "Can we share a message about Jesus?" And instantly the older girl, maybe about 7, clapped and said "oh I LOVE Jesus!" I asked her what she loved about Him and she bore the sweetest, simplest testimony. It made me think of what Jesus said in Matthew 18:"3 ...Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven."
Children are so pure and innocent! After we shared our message I gave them a Book of Mormon and this girl took it and instantly started flipping through it, because she loved Jesus and I shared how it is another Testament of Him. She was a great example and I invite you all to be as this child, meek and submissive with a great love for Heavenly Father and your Savior, Jesus Christ.
I love you all!

Hermana Hansen and Hermana Peterson!

about 90° which feels really nice when you are in the shade. Someone thanked me for bringing my Idaho weather to Arizona... of course of course hahaha
We have been trying to track this one woman down and just as we were going to give up hope, we ran into her as she was leaving! Her name is Sabrina and she texted us a while back saying she wanted to go to church but then wouldn't respond to us or answer the door. Well we met her and she is AWESOME and so ready to learn more about the church! She said that now we have met in person it will be easier for her to meet with us so we set up reoccurring lessons!
I hit one month out in Arizona! Technically I've almost finished two months of my mission but I have been in Arizona for a full month! I love the people and the sun! I am so thankful to be serving the Lord for a month now!
We are still doing a lot of finding, but we see miracles every day! Everytime I get tired of people not answering their door I remind myself that there are people waiting for me who God has been preparing! I just have to have patience and rely on His timing!
Oh! We met this one cooky lady named Heidi and as we were leaving she said that Sister Mansius would be going to Alaska after the mission and I would be going to Thailand. She said the spirit or something told her. We were like okay crazy lady and left. Well we found out that Sister Mansius and her family are going on an Alaskan cruise when she goes home! We were both so shook! I guess I'm going to Thailand! Start planning the trip dad! I'm ready!

This week we hit 100°! And then we stayed there! I got a little sunburnt just from the sun being on me in the car, but other than that it's not too bad! We aren't outside as much and usually the AC is cold enough inside buildings that when we step outside it's nice... I've been told this is only the beginning and the Summers usually stays over 100° but I'm not going to let a little something like multiple excessive heat warnings stop me from spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Spiritual Thought! In our Bible Study a Brother was talking about how important it is to share spiritual experiences we have. He said that the song "Tell me the stories of Jesus" is a good reminder to talk about what happened when Jesus came to the people in the Bible or Book of Mormon, but it's equally important for us to be telling the stories of Jesus that are happening RIGHT NOW! We are all gaining new stories about Jesus and how He has blessed/influenced our lives, and so I invite all of you to start recording or telling others your stories of Jesus! (You could even email one to me
) others will benefit from your testimony, and your faith and love for the Savior will grow!
